First Sledding Adventure

We took Alex out today for about three minutes (enought time to go up and down the driveway) to get a little use out of his sled. He will be too big for it next year. He wasn't too enthused. Outside is not a place for a big drooler, tad bit chilly on the chin.

Alex is Crawling!

I caught Alex's first crawling "steps", when we realized he would get moving to knock over a block tower. Sorry the picture is a little dark, I am sure I could fix it, but not sure how, can't be picky about these things while catching milestones on tape.

After taking his nine month picture, I switched the camera over to video mode so everyone can see him in action. Isn't he the cutest! He could not be any closer to crawling, he is trying so very hard but just has not coordinated the arms and legs. Maybe sometime soon. We put the Christmas tree in the family room to motivate him. : )

Alex is scooting around now. This is the first time he managed to scoot himself off the carpeted area onto the hard floor. He was instantly intrigued that he could quickly turn himself around and that it made a loud noise when he banged the floor with his hand. The best part about this picture is that you can see his teeth! I have been trying to get a picture of them for a long time. Sorry for the drool pouring out of his mouth, it seriously never stops. I lost count of how many shirts and bibs we go through in a day. At least half a load a day. Must be more teeth on the way!
