Signs of Spring

Sunday was a lot warmer. The snow was melting quickly, filling in the ravine next to our house. The boys love to dig in the water and mud. Rain boots are on there way in the mail. Snow boots just don't work well with water and mud. They spent at least three hours in the mud.

Alex and I planted at least 50 crocuses last fall.  We are excited to see them coming up and filling our flower beds.  Later that day when the ice was gone, I cleared out all the leaves that collected over the winter.
I'm not sure what these are called.  I did not plant these.  They come up every year and last about a day.
We also planted around 30 tulips last fall, can't wait when they all bloom.

.

Is it Warmer Yet?

It was not all that warm on Saturday, but the boys really wanted to go to the "swing park". So we braved to cooler weather.

Bath Time

Luke only enjoys bath time when it's his idea. I will never forget the time he screamed the whole time "I want to get out" over and over. It wasn't really a choice so I washed him up in about three minutes (although it seemed a lot longer with a screaming child and took him out. He then promptly started screaming "I want to go back in." Oh the joys of approaching three. Often Alex does not want to take a bath with him because he carries on so much. But, today he was having a good old time.

He has termed this hair style a "parapoodle", not totally sure why.  But, nearly every morning he tells daddy that he has a parapoodle on his head.
