Christmas Eve

Santa surprised us and came a day early. He must of knew we had places to be Christmas and wanted us to have time to enjoy the morning of Santa presents ;).

I think I was too sleepy to properly work the camera, I don't know why it's so blurry
additional Jake duplos to add to the Bucky set he already has

silly string in the stockings for the grand finale

Wow, what happened here and wow what happened to my camera's focus?

Soon after opening presents Luke began to look pretty sick. He started complaining about his ear hurting and he had fever. Luckily, the doctor was there in the morning. We went in to find an ear infection in both ears and pneumonia. And the doctor gave him an official diagnosis of asthma to top it off with a daily medication to take. Luke got his meds and took a four hour nap. He woke up looking pretty good for Christmas Eve dinner and presents. But, many of dinner guests decided not to come after hearing Luke was ill.

So Sick

The boys missed 4 days of school before break due to the flu. Alex got rid of it on his own. But, Luke needed to go in on Christmas Eve for antibiotic. He is fairly prone pneumonia, with this being his fifth or sixth case. There was a lot of sleeping going on the week before Christmas. I'm really glad they perked up before Christmas and the most amazing thing is Kris and I didn't get it! Thanks to lots of hand washing, vitamin c, apple cider vinegar, CoQ10, raw honey. We tried everything we knew and it worked.

A New Milestone...

The boys have recently learned to set up and play a turn taking game, with little adult intervention. It's nice to see them play like this on their own once in awhile.

Santa, Burgers, Bells and Books

On the 14th we went ventured through the snow to see Santa at Kerrytown. We ate lunch at Kerrytown and then headed to the downtown library for a bells concert. We even had a part in one of the songs. Then we found the downtown library has many shelves of Christmas books, so we got a big pile to read over then next several weeks.

Brunch with Santa

On the 8th we went to brunch with Santa with Grandma and Grandpa Ericson. The boys enjoyed there first glimpse of Santa for the season.

So excited to catch sight of Santa
