Month by Month Growth

One Month Old

Two Months Old

Each month I am taking a picture of Alex in the same 12 month size onesie. These pictures will look great in a collage frame. I am sure we all like looking back at how small he really was.

Circle of Stuffed Friends

Alex and all the stuffed animals that he has received. Quite a collection for someone that has only been around for two months!

From Playing to Snoozing

Look how much Alex enjoys "tummy time" (at least for brief amounts of time).

Alex has just begun to intentionally reach for objects and open and close his hands. He just can't grab a hold of things yet, but I am sure it will be soon.

Look at the smile!

Just about a half hour later, he is all worn out.

It's hard to believe that he is already 8 weeks old!

Showing off my Smile

Alex began to smile last week. His toothless grin always brightens my day! Thought I would share it with you.

Alex was Baptized Today

Alex in his Baptism outfit that his Grandma Porter made.

Alex, his parents and all of his grandparents.

Alex slept right through the whole ceremony, since he was up all night in excited anticipation for his Baptism.

Alex's First Walk

With the weather in the 60's Alex got to venture out of the house for something other than doctor's appointments or visiting grandparents. He slept right through his walk and woke up as soon as we came in. I think he enjoyed it!

Growing Bigger Every Day

Alex went to the doctor yesterday and now weighs 10 pounds, 2 ounces. He is 22 inches long and 75th percentile for his head size. Mom went to the doctor also to see if surgery was needed to repair her separated abdominal muscles and possible hernia. Luckily, surgery is not needed at this time. He would like to see how much healing they can do on their own and will see me back in eight weeks. I don't have any restrictions, so I can go about caring for Alex and exercising as I please. Whew!
