Luke's First Trip to the Park

We went to Matthaei Botanical Gardens today. It was Luke's first trip to the park. Its a great place for us to visit because they have a big children's garden that allows Alex to play and Luke to stay in the shade.

Jump City But No Jumping

Theresa took Alex to Jump City today, but Alex didn't want anything to do with it. He was okay watching the kids but that was about it. He kept asking to go home and when they walked out the door he said he was happy. They gave us a free pass to try it out again in July.

The Line Up- One Month

Alex one month

Luke one month

Either way, it looks as if my baby photography skills have improved over the past few years :) Ah, you can't even see Alex's face and it's in a shadow, nice.

One Month Old

Another round of month old blanket pics in the 12 month onzie. For Luke I'm adding in a the blocks. (So I can tell them apart later) I realize keeping the blocks in order may be very tricky as the months progress.

Hands On with Theresa and Friends

Theresa and her friend Ann Marie took Alex and Mora to the Hands on Museum on Thursday. Alex is so excited to get out of the house since mommy is still in the recovery stage to get out too much. Plus, Luke is suppose to stay away from large crowds until he is eight weeks, thanks to his "pretermness", but it would probably be a good idea anyway. So, either way its difficult to get out and I'm so thankful when people are able to get Alex out of the house.

No More Pictures

Well I figured out why I haven't been taking as much pictures. This is what I get. He doesn't want me to take pictures of him and he doesn't want me taking pictures of Luke (why it matters to him I'm not sure). All he want to do is "see, see, SEE" the camera. Then starts he starts looking like the bottom picture when he can't. Ahh, the terrible twos, just loving them.

Three Weeks Old

Today is Luke's due date, but we already got to enjoy him for the past three weeks. Luke has proved to be a very easy going boy. I thought I was going to get a little stinker, but thankfully I have been proven wrong, at least temporarily. Thank goodness, he likes to sleep way more than Alex. Alex use to only sleep a half hour to an hour at a time and a total of eight to ten hours a day. It was exhausting. Luke sleeps two to two and half hours at a time and has little awake time (except for feedings) during the night (typically). He also eats a lot better than Alex too. Alex would need to be constantly coaxed along and Luke is "self-propelled". Good thing cause with two boys around I wouldn't have time for all that coaxing. I took Luke in for his three week check-up today and he is already nine pounds two ounces! He grew two and half inches too! His body structure is completely different than Alex's too. He is long and lean with long fingers, feet and toes. Unfortunately there will be no shoe hand me downs as Alex requires wides. His head size is in the fiftieth percentile unlike Alex who was always in the nineties. Hmm, another problem...all the hats will never match the hand-me-down coats. Oh well. So, I have been really bad about taking pictures. I was trying not to have a different amount than Alex, so I better start taking some more! Hope to share some soon.
