"Farm Park"

The boys call Kensington the "farm park", since that is typically the main attraction there. Alex is typically checking out the structures and mechanics and Luke enjoys the animals.  We went there on July 3rd.

Peonies

I often wonder are peonies so beautiful because we only see them for a week during the year?

Just the beginning of Summer and Loving It

We were just about to hit summer break and had a great taste of summer this weekend (6/7). We went to the Farmer's Market and got our first taste of local grown vegetables for the year. We also went to the botanical gardens. In the evening, Kris and I went kayaking. What a great nearly summer day!

Memorial Day

Oh, I went nearly all summer without posting pictures. But, as usual I still have been taking pictures, time to catch up...

 On Memorial Day we went to Greenfield Village. It was pretty warm, but it was a good way to remember what the day was about.
