Look at My Strong Muscles!

At the beginning of the month, Alex could barely lift up his head on his tummy because his head grew so fast. We have been working on it and now he is able to push himself up. He smiles nearly all the time. His vocabulary of noises has greatly increased, we rarely have a quiet moment when he is awake as he tests all of his new sounds. He loves to bring his hands together as he sucks on them and blows bubbles. It's so much fun to watch him grow, everyday brings something new!

Mother's Day: Mom's First

Well, I couldn't get him to smile for a picture, but I think he still loves his mommy. Here are some pics from the day.

Getting So Big

Alex went to the doctor today for his two month check-up. He now weighs 12 pounds, 2 ounces and is 23 and a half inches long. He continues to be in the 75 percentile for weight and height and his head size is in the 95 percentile. It was our first venture out alone together and we managed just fine. Alex is so laid back. He screamed for his shots but was comforted as soon as he was back in mom's arms.

Each month I am taking a picture of Alex in the same 12 month size onesie. These pictures will look great in a collage frame. I am sure we all like looking back at how small he really was.
