Look at my Teeth!

Alex is scooting around now. This is the first time he managed to scoot himself off the carpeted area onto the hard floor. He was instantly intrigued that he could quickly turn himself around and that it made a loud noise when he banged the floor with his hand. The best part about this picture is that you can see his teeth! I have been trying to get a picture of them for a long time. Sorry for the drool pouring out of his mouth, it seriously never stops. I lost count of how many shirts and bibs we go through in a day. At least half a load a day. Must be more teeth on the way!

Happy Birthday Great Grandma Phibbs!

Alex went with his dad, Uncle Andy and Grandpa Phibbs to visit his great grandmother to wish her a happy birthday. Mommy had to stay home, still recovering from her surgery on Friday. She is doing well and hopes to be back in the full swing of things soon.

Alex is Six Months (about two weeks ago)

I am running a little behind with the picture taking! Life has been a little upside down lately. As many of you know, I had a "sore throat" for nearly the entire month of August. During the third time to visit the doctor I found out a had a paritonsillar abscess. I was in the hospital for three days and was discharged on Alex's six month "birthday". I finally have been feeling myself for the past few days. However, I am need of getting my tonsils out due to the infection and have been busy getting through my to do list before the surgery that is scheduled for Friday.
Alex is getting more difficult to photograph. He is just so busy. Soon its going to be difficult to keep him on the blanket. Lots of transitions lately, solid foods, formula bottles, more sleep through the night, two teeth, more personality, sitting on his own. He is just getting so big!

Keep it coming!

Alex loves his solid food. He does not quite get the idea that it is not a steady stream like his bottles. He thinks that I am being annoying by taking the spoon in and out, so he has decided to hold my hand in after each bite. Still doesn't work. Oh well, he will get the idea sooner or later!
