Luke Pig

Luke's class put on "The 3 Little Pigs".  Luke was very proud of his role as a "brick pig".  He was happy to be the pig whose house did not fall over.  The smart pig he says.  Here's the mask he made to he wore in his play.

Snow...We Still Have Snow

Taking photos of snow is getting a little old.  I'm writing this mid March and it's been 3 months now.  Luke asked me the other day if the grass was still there.  But, this was February 18th when the snow was still fun.

100th Day of School

Seems like a tradition in Kindergarten is to celebrate the 100th day of school.  Everyone brought in 100 things so they had a 100 thing museum.  Alex brought in legos, of course.

He came out with all his classmates with these amazing headbands on

and a certificate for making it a 100 days in kindergarten

Getting Ready for Valentine's Day

On February 8th we went to Grandma's to make cookies and Valentines that they boys gave to their teachers.

Sunday Doughnuts and Icey Dam

On February 2nd we offered doughnuts for good behavior at church.  After the snack we got bundled up to check out what the dam looked like with all the ice.  The boys decided to use the hill for sledding.  Not bringing a sled didn't stop them, just went "penguin style" as they say.

Grandma's Birthday

Grandma requested some art to put on the refrigerator for her birthday and the boys got very into fulfilling her request. They even put them in boxes and wrapped them for her.  When Grandma got to dinner she couldn't even get off her coat before it was time to open them.  They were just so excited about the artwork they made.
