Charlevoix and Petosky

We made a last minute trip to Charlevoix last week. It was great to get in one more road trip before the summer was over.

We had cloudy weather, so no spectacular sunsets, but the luckily there was no rain

with all his beach treasures

they loved to watch the bridge open and close

waiting for the bridge to open and boats to come through

train garden was played in for an hour

watching the trains come through and then got the brillant idea to pile up wood chips on the track so the trains would stop

he wanted another turn to take a picture

they let us feed cups upon cups of food to the ducks and fish

castle gardens, they have over 200 weddings a year as you would imagine

enchanted trail, a cute walk

we stopped at this "discovery center" in all places but gaylord on the way home, as you can imagine he doesn't get much business, but still trying to make money 4 years later

Kris in the back working on his "challenge", he gives parents things to do as well, he made all of the things himself

Happy Birthday Theresa

We had a lot of fun throwing Theresa a birthday party in our backyard.  It was perfect weather!
