More Fun at the Botanical Gardens

In the "Fairy Woods" of the Children's Garden

The sand play area of the Children's Garden

The Children's Garden also has a art area, that the kids can draw on slate rocks. Alex found putting the chalk in and out of the buckets more interesting.

a little too sunny for pictures, too much squinting

This has proved the to be the best place to take Alex on nice days. It is perfect for him to run around and explore. He likes to point out all the different things he sees. It a great opportunity to learn new words. The portion they set aside as the Children's Garden is a great place for him to explore and enjoy the flowers in a kid friendly environment. It looks like they are expanding it right now to nearly three times the size. Should be fun next year!
